Standard procedures for the remaufacturing of electric motors:

All motors are completely disassembled and inspected.

Armatures and Field coils are tested for shorts and grounds.

Brush holders, shafts and end bells are inspected for worn surfaces and repaired or replaced as needed.

Armature and field coils are dipped in class "H" varnish and baked for 3 hours at 375°.

All field coil rings, pole shoes and end bells are cleaned and steel shot blasted.

Reassembled with new brushes, springs, seals, bearings, insulators and hardware on ALL motors.

All motors are tested to meet OEM specifications.
